The DrupalCon Rush - part 1
As you can imagine, it's a beehive of activity here at Gotham City Drupal, as we prepare for DrupalCon 2012 in Denver, which starts this weekend. One thing I had put off for too long was getting a new round of business cards printed, and so you can imagine my dismay when I realized I had three (3!) days to go before I left and had "forgotten" to get them done.
Fortunately, one of our beloved clients, Jason Kessler of Tussle, came to the rescue, with a local (NYC) recommendation:
Paper Slam, Inc.
531 East 13th Street
(ground floor (btwn Ave. A & B)
New York, NY 10009
Suffice to say, I uploaded the files at 8AM on Thursday, and by Friday at 3pm the cards were on my doorstep, and at a thoroughly reasonable price I might add (no rush charges even!). Not only that, but they were PERFECT. Julie is a total professional, and it shows. She's obviously very knwledgeable, and I felt comfortable trusting her to proof the job for me (and that's huge - if you know me you know what a control freak I am, plus I spent years as an electronic prepress specialist and designer, and I'm picky as h***). The cards are everything I had dared hope they would be, and on such short notice, too.
I give Julie Lockley, the wonderul and amazing Paper Slam proprietor, highest marks in EVERY category - customer service, quality, patience, knowledge, skill and price. They can't be beat.
See you in Denver!
